A Reason to Sing

Recently we experienced some trials that brought us to our knees. Really we had never experienced the emotional heartbreak that the events of June 2012 caused.  It was terrible. We felt deserted and injured. Each seemed as if we were were walking listlessly through a foggy forest. We hope you never have to go through it.

During that time we never felt or believed God had deserted us. We were confident He would work everything together for good, even though we had no idea how that could possibly be accomplished.  Now six months later, we are stronger in our faith and love of Jesus. We still don't know how all things are going to work together for good, but we can see some good results already.

During the depths, we walked into a new church and we sang this song. I love to sing and especially sing songs to God, so this song felt written especially for me and it caused me to weep. Anyone who knows me won't be surprised. The older I get the more emotional I become.
